On page 10-03 we're suppoded to fit 1003-3 nutplates but they don't match up to the holes. I think I remember seeing a discussion at length aboutb this but can't find it. Anyone else's memory better?

At we're really supposed to match drill 1/4" holes in the tailskid arrachemnt plate -- matched to 1/8 holes?

Hi Wayne, With ref match drilling the holes to 1/4", Only drill the two holes at the threaded end of the Tail skid bracket. Then you trim away the material to the edge of the holes as per the shaded area in fig 1 on page 10-03. The 1/4" holes form the radius for the cut away. As for the nutplates, I can't see any nutplates mentioned on page 10-03. Need more info. ....Marcus, ...Downunder.

Nutplates for the tailcone are mentioned at page 10-04.
But you have to use K1000-3 nutplates instead of K1003-3 you mentioned.
