I'm full swing into getting my tailcam mounted on my -6. I'm taking tomorrow off work & I'm hoping to have it flyable by the end of the day. I'm guessing first flight will probably be Saturday morning.

I just uploaded blow-by-blow pictures & descriptions of all I've done. Lots & lots of micro! Find it all here: http://www.thedukes.org/rv/tailcam.html For now, the order of the page is newest addition at the top. So if you want to read from the beginning, scroll to the bottom.

I can't wait to get this done & shoot some more video! (If all goes well, I'll show some at the Cable EAA meeting Saturday night & maybe at Rosie's too.) Low level & aerobatics (not at the same time)...gotta find a cool uninhabited local canyon to fly through.

Ready to fly!!

I took today off work & got my tailcam ready to fly. It still needs some final TLC & paint, but I figured it's probably smart to not get crazy with a paint booth until I know everything's working right.

Takeoff's at 0900 tomorrow with the video rolling! :D

Way cool man. You even have gray primer a la Chino Paint Scheme.

If you want somebody's wing (or tail) to fly off for video testing, lemme know and I'll swing up there. Happy to appear in one of your flicks! :D

Come on up! I plan on being there around 0830 & flying as soon as I put the seat back in, check everything over & get gas.
