Under normal circumstances it will work either way. But with the switch on the ground side, if the load were to short to ground, turning the switch off would not correct the problem. Switch and breaker/fuse need to be on the "hot" side so that the device can be isolated from power.Brambo said:Probably a stupid question, but does it matter which side of the load a switch is on (power or ground)?
