The sun made a rare winter appearance in the Pacific Northwet, and along with it the desire to commit aviation (I don't think I was the only one so inclined). I was planning to go to McMinnville, OR to see the Spruce Goose, among other things, but it was too bumpy for me on the inland side. I noticed, though, that further west it wasn't as bumpy so I went to Tillamook instead.

Warmer as well

And because of the sun and warmer temps, it was a productive day on the build where fiberglass was concerned. Piano hinges got epoxied to the cowl, and the inlets for the top cowl got glass to seal the inner sides. Man it was pleasant to work today!

NICE video! Thanks for posting it. Yes, that is Tillamook Bay at 1:40. Can't wait to fly my RV-7A down there. My folks have a nice place on the beach at the south end of the bay, in Cape Meares.
