Question - is standard aircraft Tefzel wiring sufficient for the high voltage strobe outputs? Or do we need to use something else? I have a Whelen power supply and strobes, and tested them on my bench last night, they work great and appear to have standard Tefzel leads. I'm just wondering if I can use standard Tefzel for the intermediate wiring run between the supply and the strobes where they are to be mounted.

Standard 3-conductor shielded Tefzel wire will work just fine. Ground the shield at the power supply end only. IIRC Whelen recommends 18 gauge wire, but 20 gauge will work just fine due to the low duty cycle of the strobe current.
