If the shielded strobe wire is bundled with the trim servo wires, is there a danger of interference causing the trim to malfunction?

It shouldn't cause any trouble with the trim motor. If anything at all, it might interfere with the indicator. I would just wrap the cables around eachother outside of the aircraft, power both up and see what happens.

I agree with Colin. The trim motor should not be affected but I have heard of the trim indicator device (Ray Allen LED bar graph) being affected by stray noise, COM transmissions, XPNDR, etc. I would imagine just about any position indication readout, LED or EFIS could be affected since the voltage and current in that circuit is quite low and would be suseptible to induced EMF.
