I am buying a new wire stripper and noticed they offer this brand for different types of insul. (Type E-600V and Type EE-1000V). Does anyone know what we use, I.E., what Stein, Vans and AC Spruce sell.

Regular wire stippers won't cut the thin tefzel so you end up with either nicked wires or torn insul. so I have decided to spend $140 of my $600 govt. welfare check on a good wire stripper.

See this thread. It explores the world of strippers (wires, that is)
It should only cost you $25-$30 at Home Depot for the Stripmaster and another $30-$40 for the good blades. You'll have to spend the rest of your Deficit Check elsewhere....
