I have Van's Stewart Warner float fuel gauges. What is the correct way to attach the float arm to the sender. Is this just a press fit or does it need to be glued with ProSeal. The instructions say to snap the float arm into the follower but mine can be pulled out. There does not seem to be anything to prevent the arm from pulling directly out of the sender. If there is no glue it appears it may come loose inside the fuel tank and fall off. Thanks for your help. Dean

Look closely at the drawing... the arm (wire) must be bent 90 degrees where it is inserted into the nylon sender pivot arm. Once that bent wire is inserted into the arm and snaped in it cannot come out.
