Our ring gear assembly needed replaced.
We have an o360 A4A with the assembly number 77579.
Someone gave me a assembly for an A4A, part number 16064, but it has a different pulley. 1.91:1 drive vs a 3.25:1 drive.
There are 2 support assembly’s for the A4A
It’s basically a smaller pulley that was for a generator powered aircraft vs alternator.
Will this one work? With possible a new belt to fit the smaller pulley....
The starter ring gear teeth are the same.
