Can anybody recall a posting by a gentleman that is selling a very lightweight alternator that is based on the technology that I believe Tesla is using for their wheel motors. The unit weight about 2.4 lbs if I recall with a remote mounted controller. (The posting was sometime earlier this year) Im also trying to incorporate it with my existing plane power 60 amp alternator as a backup and need a device to tie the two together so that I can keep the battery charged in the event the main alternator fails.
