I have an EPM.AV Engine Side SS Heater Valve that the welds on the actuator arm just broke off due to bad spot welds. When I removed the whole mechanism from the firewall the flapper hinge fell off as well. As you might guess EPM-AVcorp's website isn't there anymore and the phone number belongs to someone else now!

I bought this because I thought Van's aluminum heater valve didn't make much sense in a SS firewall so this looked like the perfect solution. Do any of you kind folks know what happened to EPM-AVCORP? Did someone else take over the SS Heater Valves?
 
Just repair it.

Any good welding shop that has a tig welder can probably fix it for you and beef up the area where it broke. :)
 
I found out that Plane Innovations now make and sell the valves. They are replacing the valve so I am super happy with their business ethics. Linda said they have a new vendor doing their welding so it should hold up better.
