This may not be specific to the 9, I am not sure.

Has anyone installed the SPRL fuel cap with universal flange in their RV?
The opening in the tank skin needs to be opened up to 2.795 dia. from 2.345 dia. This leaves an edge dimension for the rivets of .164". The edge dimension should be 2x the diameter of the rivet or .187". The flange width is .39 so they are built in such a way they would be able to maintain proper edge dimension if the skin rivet holes were not pre punched.

In the description they say " ...perfect flush fit under a metal skin, as in the RV series..." however in the application section RVs are not listed. (Rockets are though)

Does anyone have experience with these caps and flanges in an RV?

The 'deluxe' fuel caps would be a better fit on the 9 and will drop straight into the existing hole. A little more expensive, but easier installation. Cap is metal rather than plastic. Supplied by the same company.
