The last flight I was positive I turned off my SPOT. I had just installed new batteries as the unit had not been tracking . Today when I got into my plane the light was still flashing , so the unit was still on. I tested the old batteries when I removed them and all three showed 1.57 V. I would have thought that with 1.57 volt each, they should have worked?
With the batteries still in from the unit being left on for a few days I made two flights today and I checked to see if both buttons were flashing ( unit on and foot print buttons) several times and they were. Now on-line ,I check my track on the SPOT map and find that position number 2 and 3 are missing and so is 7 and 8. Looking at the lat and long I find the same lat and long indicated for position 1, 2 and 3 . And the same lat and long for 6, 7 and 8. Anyone make sence of this ? Weak batteries again?
Thanks Ron
