I have my Garmin G3X GPS antenna mounted under cowl just ahead of windshield and GTN 750 GPS antenna mounted on roof behind baggage compartment on my RV10.
When the SPOT is placed on the glare shield it will cause the G3X to have constant error messages (1st one ~30 min in and then approx every 9 minutes thereafter). This is a known problem to Garmin
When i place the spot in the back seat of the -10 it causes havoc with the GTN 750.

Anybody else experience this and have a solution ?

i do use my APRS and it is error free.

Intresting. I just bought a Spot 3 but haven't flown it yet. They (Spot3) warn of possible interference with GPS and recommend distancing from GPS antennae. You noted interference every 9 minutes and I think it updates your position every 10 minutes, so interference is probably occuring when it transmits a position update.
