Congratulations Bob - you are doing great!

I really admire the careful and measured way in which you have been creeping your speed up with little improvements here and there - and how you have been sharing those experiences with everyone. For me, it's not the speeds that you attain, or the mods themselves - its the example that you set by doing things in a controlled manner, are willing to try new ideas, and even to scrap them and start over when they don't work.

Clearly, a good engineer!

Yeah, it looks like pretty soon they are going to need a class for Bob's airplane, then the rest of the RV's.

I know the feeling

You make me feel good but if you ever get in a race with John Huft and Jon Ross you appreciate real speed. John is ready to crack 250 MPH in his RV-8. He has a website and he shares what works and what doesn't. Still, thanks for the kind thoughts. I watch "The World's Fastest Indian" at least once each year for enjoyment and inspiration.

MPH

They are in statute miles per hour as indicated in the header "MPH". That is pretty typical because it maximizes the image of speed.
