I have been looking at a lot of posts and I was wondering something. Maybe this is something that I should know, but....

I have noticed that the spar of the RV-14 is silver, while other RVs are gold.

Just curious as to the reason.

Clear Anodizing vs Gold Anodizing ... assuming the 14 does have a Anodized spar ... ?

The RV-14 (and RV-12) spars are clear anodized for corrosion protection. Clear anodizing results in a silver aluminum coloration.
