I pay a $307/yr Personal Property Tax in Jasper County, SC on an F1 Rocket. They do not show an appraised value for the airplane on the tax bill I just received, so I don't know the basis for that particular taxation. More than half of that tax goes to the "School District" and most of the remainder to "County Operations".
