I seem to be monopolizing this forum with my questions...

I'm about to start riveting the left HS together and the plans say to rivet the spar halves together first. Is there a good reason to do this? Seems it would be A LOT easier to build both halves first, then rivet the spar halves together.

Any thoughts anyone?

You'l not have access to all the rivets to join the to halves. My advice is to follow the instructions with the HS project. When you get to the wings the directions are not as complete. You'll need to work from the basics you'll learn from the tail and take your time looking to the next or next, next, next step.

Agreed. There are times where I've questioned the progression or logic of the instructions, thinking of jumping ahead or doing it different, only to get in trouble later in the building process.
