The plane- RV-9A, O-320, built to plans no cowl mods.
Used 2 tubes with muffs, 1fwd of baffle top center. 1 aft of baffle between the mags.
This was my first run so it is a little crude, a bumpy ride didn't help.
Next run I will tee into the static line to avoid this error.
Why? My plane doesn't have any engine temp problems:eek:, just have it in my head that I want to fool with some vortex gens. on the bottom of the cowl.
Any one know the best angle for VG's?

cowl pressures

very intersting. where was the placement of the behind the baffling tube?

I would assume as one got closer to the exit the pressure would decrease.

While you are at it..

It would be very useful to know how fast the air is moving at the intakes and how fast it is moving at the exit. Believe it or not, this would be used to improve propeller design!
