Goodmorning all,
My journey from Salina, Kansas to Fairbanks, Alaska went well, and my project: N854TW survived without so much as a scratch. I am faced with some challenges, and need to put her on wheels so I can easily move the fuselage. Problem is, not ready to purchase finishing kit at this time. I want to put solid axles on her, and was wondering what brand of axles fit the gear holes. Are all the gear holes that are predrilled in gear "standard" ? She is anxiously awaiting to be moved, and currently living in a storage unit, collecting dust...:(

Get some 3/4 plywood, cut into two pieces about 12" by 12" or so and bolt four caster on each pice of wood. Put one under each gear leg. Screw some small pices of wood to the plywood butting up against the gear leg then bolt the gear leg to the wood. You will then be able to maneuver your fuselage around quite easily.
