G'Day from Australia, Has anyone had an interference problem between the Sniffle valve fitted to an Aero Sport Power M1B and the Vetterman exhaust supplied by Vans.
If so, how did you resolve it.

Pete.

Circumcised

Norman,
Have you done that? If so, how did you connect it to the drain tube?
Too close to the exhaust to use rubber fuel line.

Got a cold

Alton,
A sniffle valve is a small one way valve to allow excess fuel to drain from the intake manifold.
Open when the engine is not running and suck closed by Manifold suction when running. Took me a while to find out too.

Piper sniffle valve

Have you looked at a sniffle valve for the Piper Seminole? This is the assy that I used for another -7A. It is bent 90 degrees and provides ample clearance.

Seminole Sniffle

Mavmec,
I have searched the web but cannot find the valve you mentioned or where I might find one.
Any clues.
Thanks,
Pete.

Piper P/N 492-091 is a 90 degree hose bib sniffle valve that should work. Not sure if it is the same one that was mentioned, but it will work.
FYI, Piper P/N 41287-000 is the same valve with a straight hose bib instead of the 90 degree one.
Good Luck and Merry Christmas,
Mahlon
