Though late in the season I finnaly got a chance to run up to smiley creek this morning - only 1:20 flight time avg 145 kts from Logan ut.
Was a great trip even if we only walked around for 30 minutes and went home. This has been an awesome year of flying- had my plane back about a full year since the soccer field engine out incident and we have had a great time in the Rv. Need to do more trips and I need a bigger plane to take my family but at least I have a plane at all ! I have mostly regained that confidence back from my family that was lost, and my dad is loving the plane now. Man I wish I had my own grass strip ! Makes for some nice soft landings.
