Just thought I would post a gotcha I found on my QB kit. I am going with the aft mounted battery, I drilled and countersunk the battery tray,then went to test fit the tray. The kit came with the 6 nut plates installed in the baggage floor ribs. However they installed 1000-8 nut plates instead of the larger ones called out in the plans. Not a big deal but it does take time to drill out these things and reinstall them. Sometimes I think we should get a credit back for having to redo items on the QB kits, they advertise $8 per hour with the cost for the QB compared with the time it saves you. There have been not major problems with the QB just little things. I am still glad I went QB, it has been a year and a half and I am nearly ready to wire and hang the engine!
