In System Functions you can query Noise Level which is relative received noise level of the frequency you are listening to. The range displayed is between 0 and 255. My SL40 displays a noise level of 140. I'm wondering if that's good or bad? User Manual doesn't give any other information. I emailed Garmin with no response.
