All,
My SL40 is suddenly inop. No receive audio. No static when I pull the volume knob. No TX light when I press PTT. Front panel lights up. I can set and flip flop frequencies. COM1 (Garmin 430W) works fine. Using a Garmin 347 audio panel.
I have removed from the tray and re-installed. No joy.
Sounds to me like it is something internal to the radio and needs to be sent back to Garmin. Anything else I should check first?
Anyone in/around Perry, GA have an SL40 I could swap out to test my theory?
