I have another question about my new PM8000BT harness that was made by AS. I am building the ends and connecting a couple SL40's. I have a question about how to wire the PTT back to the SL40's. I'm hoping someone can help me understand.

Setup:
BT8000BT
SL40 (Com1)
SL40 (Com2)
Pilot and CoPilot PTT switch on Mic Jack


The PTT wires (Yellow) are wired to the pilot/copilot Mic jack as shown in the PM8000BT manual. This makes sense to me. I would connect this to my PTT switch.

My question is how do I connect the PTT back from the PM8000BT to the SL40 radios? So only the active radio would transmit?

That is what pin 12 and 30 on th audio panel do. It's mic key and this point not Ptt but same function

How about the Mic ground wire from the SL40?
