I can't receive ATIS (or weather) on my SL30 for some reason, my hand held recieves them fine with just the rubber duck. Transmit and receive on 122.8 seems fine.

I noticed that the RF Signal levels on the com frequencies seem quite low, in the mid 20's range for 122.8 for example, 9 or 10 for the ATIS frequencies.

Anyone know what the number range is for the SL30, ie 1 to 25, 1 to 100 etc.
The manual does not specify, just says "range".

What else could cause this problem? Anyone experience this before.

Can you hear the ATIS if you pull the squelch test? If you can then there is an option to change the RF squelch level in the setup menu. I can't remember how to get into the setup menu but it is in the install guide.
