A friend is in phase one with his 7a and having problems with his SL30. I can hear him 30 miles out crystal clear, but he can barely hear incoming communications and when he turns up the volume, there is a slight squeal. We have changed a lot of adjustments, but can't seem to fix the problem.

Looking for some resolution ideas!

Squeal? What type headset? Try a different headset?
