I stumbled across this white paper outlining the Special Test procedures for IFR pitot-static checks on the Skyview system. It's been out for a few months but I was previously unaware of this "new" procedure.
I can tell you that this is going to make doing an IFR cert on the Skyview "a bit" more time consuming. If you plan on having this done, you may want to bring a copy of it to the shop for their review.
Not sure what the ramifications of not doing it per the new procedure but apparantly there are some "calibration" issues doing it the standard way.
