On our breakfast flight yesterday morning I noticed that one of the nearby airports (KCEY) was showing up as a red dot on my Skyview map. Sure enough, I dialed in their AWOS and found out that the airport would be closed for the next 2 days. Later I called the FBO and found out that they were repainting the runway markings and doing some runway shoulder work, so they initiated a notam. Now, how did my Skyview map know?? It can't be in the database, so my guess is that it must have come from the ADSB-IN function. Does anyone know for sure? Great feature, wherever it comes from. Also, we were flying to a little airport in southeastern Missouri (KDXE). I was pleasantly surprised to see that the runway was drawn on the moving map with runways numbers at the ends; how nice. Now that probably did come from the database. .............Tom
