Dynon Well Known Member Advertiser Aug 1, 2010 #2 We can follow the horizontal portion, but not the vertical. At least in the USA, even if we could, this would not be legal as an IFR certified GPS must be used. I'm not even 100% sure if the 695 outputs vertical data for a simulated approach.

N941WR Legacy Member Aug 1, 2010 #4 Moura, The 496 stops putting out vertical nav info at 1000' AGL. The 696 may do the same.
