I'm doing some space planning as well as some sPace negotiations with the wife. what are the length of the emp. And cockpit package when they are built but not yet joined for an RV-12?

Sorry, I am not at the hanger to measure for you. If someone else doesn't chime in prior, I can get the measurements this weekend.

They should easily fit in the living room, unless you were planning to put the wings there

Fuselage: 44 inches wide. Seven foot 6 inches long including the forward lower fuselage. No engine. The 7'6" dimension includes 6 inches of only the aft end of the longerons sticking out.
Tail Section without the rudder and horizontal stab. attached is right at nine feet.
