I read the threads and am still looking for more advice on attaching this servo to my vertical induction Aerosport 320. The accepted fastening method seems to be use of lock washers. To me this seems to be the same method that resulted in loss of power of the carburetor type engines and the lawsuits that ensued after the nuts backed off. Are there any suggestions for a more reliable attachment method ?

Mine is attached using star washers and plain nuts. Superior IO-360 engine, but shouldn't be much different than the 320. I suppose one could drill the studs and use castle nuts, or maybe metal locking nuts. I'm not an A&P so maybe someone else with more experience will add better information.

Two more ideas

Loctite thread locker and orange lacquer to visually identify if they have come loose.
