Hi everyone,
The shunt supplied with the EMS-D10 does not come with a cover and, eventhough it will be installed on the cabin side, I would like to protect it from anything that can come in contact with it. A cover similar to the ANL holder would be nice. What have you done to prevent a short of its terminals? Suggestions please.

You could paint on some liquid electrical tape.

I have heard where some people just secure a piece of baffle material above the shunt so that the baffle material hangs down over and on top of the shunt.

I have also thought about doing this:
Home Depot has clear, plastic, 3/4" (or so) angle located in their bath/shower section. Since your shunt is on the cabin side, you could secure one piece of the angle above the shunt, and secure a second piece of the angle hanging off the first piece of angle. This second piece would hang down over the shunt. That's probably very hard to understand just by reading.....sorry.

Thanks to you all. I guess it will be a combination of liquid tape, nipples and heat shrink that will do the job.
