My son is asking for some of the smaller parts to work on until he finds a place to work on his wings. He's asking for the ailerons and or flaps. If I find a box big/sturdy enough to ship across country, what's the best way to package it to prevent damage.

I'm thinking to line the box with 1/2" foam similar to what you might line a garage door with. I'm thinking it will be light enough, but still protect the parts from being harmed in transport.

It will most likely be sent by UPS, as my son has seen their trucks when he gets home from work.

Thanks for any advice,

Wing kit.....

I assume that if you have the flaps and ailerons, you also have the balance of the wing kit. I would think shipping and prepping the wing ribs would be a lot more productive and easier to ship.
