Recently there was a post soliciting the most miserable moments of RV building. Well it occured to me that there are some great moments during the build that, through the eyes of a "normal" person, look ordinary.

One big one for me is the throwing away of boxes and plastic bags. Seems innocent enough but it's a great feeling for me to throw away the box that the airspeed indicator came in. Or, the bag that the Dynon harness came in. Or even the box that had the latest order from Van's or Aircraft Spruce in. Why? Because the stuff that was in the box is now on the airplane...hopefully for good!

It Never Stops!

1 year and 11 months, 192 hrs after first flight, I have a new box to throw away! The box that my new Grand Rapids EFIS and EIS came in!!!!!!! Now the work begins anew.
