Hi all,

There is a long firesleeved hose that runs from the oil pressure outlet on the back of the engine to the transducer on the firewall. On an RV 8, this runs along the firewall as the tranducer is on the left and the outlet on the right rear of the engine. The plans show it secured by two adel clamps on the firewall. The question is this: size 10 adel clamps hold the hose very tightly. Size 11 allow the hose to move a little. Do I want the hose held tight so there is no wear between the adel clamp and the hose or a little loose so that there is less stress on the hose and its motion with the engine? What's the answer?
