Hi All,

in my RV7 i have the old style AFP boost pump spaghetti with one rigid fuel line running forward to penetrate the firewall. this line is pretty long and it would be a good idea to support that line in some way to avoid touching the floor/housing etc. Also the fuel lines at the fuel pump assembly run partially underneath the unit and i am concerned of chaffing.

How did you guys handle the subject? Pictures would be very much appreciated.

Best Regards from Germany

I used the plastic cable-tie pad, but bonded them to the floor with a flexible epoxy for plastics. I then used a piece of poly tube around the fuel line and then zip-tied it down to the pad.

Some use a foam block between the floor and the floor cover to capture and hold the line. Some use adel clamps with some sort of aluminum support.

I used short segments of split rubber fuel hose around the aluminum fuel lines for support off the floor and for abrasion resistance in several spots.
