I received an email from SA indicating that they have had a change of heart (If I read the meaning correctly). They received so much heat at OSH that they have reconsidered and will continue to 'support' those lifetime subscriptions, without further upgrades or enhancements. But we still get our monthly data updates so I'm happy and the Team came through with their complaining!

Received the same email. Better than nothing but I still don't understand the justification for not fully honoring their commitment.
