I'm looking for a set of plans for seat risers for the front and back seats if anyone has them,
I searched the forums and found a link or two the other day but cannot locate them now.
I suppose van intended to use several cushion arrangements from the floor to accommodate different peoples height. I've flown in 2 different 4s that had risers built and also had several cushions for front and back. I would like others opinion before I build on
Thanks

About 1/2 way down this page are a BUNCH of photos of how I made the footwells, seat pans (front and back), and the rear seat back without using the universally crappy fiberglass top than Van sells.

This is applicable to RV-4s and Rockets. I was extremely pleased with the results BOTH times that I made these parts this way.

Sorry, no plans. Eyeballs are plenty good enough to make these.

Make sure that the footwells don't interfere with your aileron pushtubes.

I obtained plans (a sketch) for the seat risers in my -4 from DJ Lauritsen at Cleaveland Tool. You can probably get something from her.

Good luck.
