Greetings!

I'm looking to purchase scotch-brite wheels and was curious as to where everyone purchased their's? In a search of the forums, most posts listed Avery as a good source, but sadly that is no longer an option. Google searches yielded roughly 3000 different types of Scotch-Brite products but none that stood out as right.

I have one each of these. The harder one will polish the teeth off a file. Good for fast work cutting up to a line, the fine is great for true deburring.

The big 6" wheel linked above is a must. Available at most RV tool sources (and at the mothership for a competitive price).

Also recommended is the die grinder version. Aircraft spruce or other tool sites-

Vans sells one too. Mine is a 7A medium.

Also, don't keep a grinding wheel on the other side. Put a soft buffing wheel on the opposite side.
All it takes is one hit on the stone wheel to ruin a part.
