I have the forward facing induction for my James cowling. I just bought a E-0995 K&N airfilter. Directions are not extremely clear on how this thing mounts up. I see drawings that show small RC model airplane spinners (3"??) atop the filter to flow the air a little better around the induction. But it also says that you cannot mount it up there because of the alt air inlet door will interfer with it.
Does anyone have some pics they can send my of their installations of the filter and how it all bolts up to the injector servo. No sense reinventing the wheel here if you've already done it.
