Just saw where an RV8, N249BW went down in Alabama on 10/20/19. Maybe I missed it, but didn’t see anything on here about it. There was one fatality.

Sad Time at 64GA

A good friend, neighbor, and my main bucking partner; Butch was a fighter pilot retired from the ANG and FedEx. A shocking loss; He?ll be sorely missed here at Big T...

The nearest reporting facility at 600' msl was reporting 1000' overcast. The accident site was 1700' msl.

Sad, unfortunate accident, condolences to all concerned.

Condolences to friends and family.

They found the accident site in part by a Find My iPhone App, interesting.
Kathryn's report is pretty amazing how they collect from many sources.
I flew in North West under 1000' OVC, over known (flat rural) terrain. 10 Vis is good.
