When you ask about RPM/Speed numbers in an RV, altitude is a big factor in what you actually see.
I pitch my props to allow 2800 at Sea Level so I can attain "Rated Power" (2700) at 8500 and above. Your mileage may vary...
What numbers RU seeing at Sea Level, 5K and 8.5K and what prop do you have?
