Hi all
Does anybody have a gas strut on their canopy and if they would be able to give me a strut measurement open and close length?
Thanks again

My solution, I used a "snubber" which has no lift pressure. It just dampens the movement. Mine is liberated from an airliner overhead bin , but it's 12" overall extended.

Search this. It has been extensively discussed previously. However, here is my setup that I really like! It's a cabin baggage door strut from a Boeing 737! Compact, unobtrusive, works well!
