Your guess is as good as mine but like @bhassel said, they told us they hoped to have the first kit (likely empennage) shipping in 12-18 months.
 
Nice.That’s sooner than I would have thought. I’m not a builder by any stretch of the imagination, and this stage of my aviation life it’s highly unlikely that I’ll never own, or even fly, an RV-15, but I can appreciate the adventure and I wish you the very best.
 
There's a whole section just for builder threads where it'll be easier to find. I expect the RV-15 section will be very crowded, especially if the step-by-step instructions lag initial kit delivery.
