I'm getting close to finishing the trailing edge. Reading about how difficult it is to build a truly straight edge has given me anxiety about this step.

I'm using a pneumatic squeezer with the trailing edge dies from Cleveland Tool. At this point, I've partially set each rivet as per the Vans instructions, and I alternated each rivet direction.

It's not perfect, but from what I can tell it's within the 2.5mm tolerance listed in the Vans plans.

Will fully setting these rivets next increase the bend or waviness? Or at this point should it stay as is currently?

Should be good to go, don’t overdo with the final set though, just enough to get flush. Adjust in half turn increments as you test the first one to get it right on.
