The canopy handle is very functional but also not very comfortable on the hand. The aircraft really deserves something better. I carved a piece of black walnut and bonded it to the original part and you kind off don not want to take your hand off of it now! Forgive the quality of the picture

I think I could print a piece for this. I would be very light weight and hollow reinforced inside but not as cool as wood.

That looks really nice! I've always been more comfortable with wood than metal, so I'll try to do something similar when I get there
