Very often we use our own RV measuring units. I am trying to create a list which could be used for all the airplanes.

1.Speed - Mock 1 Mock equals 100 knots. Invented by famous Don McNamara see post #30

2.Percentage - 180%=100% (90 completed, 90 to go) widely accepted. Inventor unknown.

3.Money - Airplane Units (1AU=$1000) by Scott Schmidt I believe.

....

Feel free to add yours.

RV time. It is kind of like dog years but it depends on what you are doing and how long you THINK the task will take to complete.

For example:
If you say, ?I WILL finish the plane in three years,? your actual time will be 5.6 years.

Conversely, if you say, ?That is a difficult task and it will probably take me six months to do,? it will really take you 3.8 months.

I'm at the airport and I'll be home soon. = don't hold dinner for me, I'll be home around midnight.

Tuesday...

...in answer to the ubiquitous question, "When will it be ready to fly?"

Tuesday = an ambiguous number of years/months/days, the benefit of which is that it will never be more than a few days off, and you can arguably claim you were "early" if you actually fly on a Sat, Sun or Mon.
