Is it safe and non-damaging to use a lift (table lift or motorcycle lift) with, let?s say a 2x4 foot padded table under the spar location getting all 3 wheels off the ground at the same time? I know I have seen a picture of this somewhere, but I just can't find it. If not, what is the best way to set up the plane to install the wheel fairings and pants? Experienced help is appreciated. Jack at the engine mount.

Hi Carl,
We jacked under the lower motor mount bolts. We had a temporary bolt welded to a piece of upside down channel iron. Install the assembly in place of the motor mount bolts and fit two bottle jacks under the channel iron while supporting the rear fuselage bulkhead on a padded sawhorse.
